Our beautifully restored Grade II listed property offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Each 1 and 2-bedroom Apartment includes a fully-equipped kitchenette, cosy lounge and comfortable sleeping area. High-speed WiFi, SMART TV, microwave, complimentary coffee and walk-in showers are provided as standard.

The Deluxe Double Apartments at Lonsdale House offer an ideal living space, complete with premium amenities such as a Smart TV, kitchenette, microwave, coffee machine, and a generously sized walk-in shower. Bed linen and towels are included.
This Apartment can be configured as either 1x Double Bed or 2x Single Beds. A sofa bed is also available in the lounge area.
Complimentary access to our exclusive "Secret Garden" is extended to all our guests.
Deluxe Family Apartment
Our Deluxe Family Apartment is the largest space at Lonsdale House, and comes equipped with high spec amenities including High Speed Wifi, SMART TV, , kitchenette, microwave, coffee machine and spacious walk-in shower.. Bed linen and towels are provided in all units.
This Apartment can be configured as either 2x Double Beds or 4x Single Beds. A sofa bed is also available in the lounge area.

Lonsdale House Luxury Apartments offer a cosy retreat on the picturesque edge of the English Lake District, just 20 minutes from Lake Windermere and 15 minutes from Barrow in Furness.
Our Grade II listed property is one of the region's most historical and interesting buildings, with a history dating back to the 1650's. Our 13 meticulously designed Apartments are set up for both comfort and luxury, featuring fully-equipped kitchenettes, comfortable living spaces and plush sleeping areas.
We are also delighted to welcome your four-legged friends. Dogs are greeted with complimentary treats, ensuring that they feel as at home as you do during your stay. (Please contact us in advance for availability).

Hoad Monument
Hoad Monument is a 100-foot tower at the top of the 436-foot Hoad Hill. A prominent local landmark, this structure atop Hoad Hill provides panoramic views of Morecambe Bay and the surrounding countryside.
The monument is a replica of the Eddystone Lighthouse and was built in 1850 by public subscription as a memorial for Sir John Barrow. It can be seen from many miles and has become a symbol for Ulverston town. A great walk!

Conishead Priory
